Rinjin 13-go, or "The Neighbor No. 13", is a film adaptation of the manga by Santa Inoue (also called Rinjin 13-go). The film was directed by Yasuo Inoue (no relation to Santa Inoue), and it was his first picture. It stars Shun Oguri, Shido Nakakmura, Hirofumi Arai, Yumi Yoshimura, and features a cameo by the great Takashi Miike! The story centers around Juzo Murasaki, a young man who was brutally abused by his classmates as a child. When he takes a job at a construction site and discovers he is working under the ringleader of his elementary school bullies, things begin to spin out of control. To make matters worse, the bully and his family have moved into the apartment above Juzo's.
